The Google Play store delights billions of users globally, giving access to games, apps, movies, books, content and more. The Play Visuals Partner Production Design team collaborated cross-functionally to optimize graphics for the store, insuring quality and constancy while respecting developer’s IP.
Personal Highlights:
- Pivotal in the the integration of Google Play Points (GPP) and partner artwork. Pitched and executed a design solution to incorporate Google Play Points into third-party developers artwork while respecting their branding.
- Aided in the launch of Google Play Points America’s Live Ops design and template execution that has since expanded globally.
- Designed branding for an APAC voting campaign that incorporated Original and Partner Artwork.
Asset Creation:
We receive the original asset from the developer and transform it to fit the Play Store spaces.
Partner Art with Google Play Points (GPP) Integration:
During special campaigns, partner art combines with the Google Play Points program to promote and feature deals within the Google Play Store. I designed different formats to feature GPP integration into the Games and Apps verticals while respecting spec and partner limitations.
“Best Of” Voting Campaign:
Every year, the APAC region holds a voting campaign to nominate and crown winners in each vertical category. I created a design for the winners that combined Parter and Original art while considering the scalability of the assets.
